Case Study

Coastal Contemporary Bath

Drawn to a warm, soft contemporary look, these homeowners partnered with Armstrong Building Services to reimagine their bathroom with a focus on balance, comfort, and everyday function. Clean lines and sculpted proportions set the tone, while vertical wall paneling and a serene, light palette keep the space bright and composed. A furniture-style wood vanity introduces natural warmth and tailored detail, elevated on slender brass legs that give the cabinetry a lighter footprint without sacrificing presence.

Material continuity is carried through with a consistent brass finish, seen in the hardware, lighting, and plumbing fixtures, to create a cohesive visual thread from vanity to shower.

Material continuity is carried through with a consistent brass finish, seen in the hardware, lighting, and plumbing fixtures, to create a cohesive visual thread from vanity to shower. A rounded mirror and sculptural sconces bring gentle curves and a flattering glow to the vanity wall, while a full-height matching cabinet adds substantial storage in a clean, built-in silhouette. Underfoot, wood-look plank flooring grounds the room with relaxed warmth and a durable, design-forward feel.

In the shower, smooth gray stone wall panels provide a quiet, uniform backdrop for a refined brass fixture suite, including a rainfall head and handheld sprayer for flexibility and comfort. Thoughtfully integrated support bars, finish-matched and carefully placed, add confidence without interrupting the aesthetic, and the glass enclosure keeps sightlines open for an airy, uncluttered effect. The overall sentiment is calm and effortless, but the planning is anything but, proof that a bathroom can look serene while working hard from the moment the day begins.
