What is a Stone Resin Shower?
A Walk-in Stone resin shower is a cultured stone material, made using stone chips, metal flakes, and other natural minerals. These different materials and stones are then mixed with an epoxy resin. Next, the sheets or panels are sprayed with a gel coat used on boats. Finally, the Stone resin slabs are cut to the exact size ordered and shipped out for delivery. Depending on the color or pattern you choose will determine the size of the stone or metallic flecks used in the slabs.
Low Step Stone Resin Shower Base

Stone Risin shower bases are a one-piece full solid base, the drain can be customized to any location, as long as the slope of the base stays within 1/4″ of slope per 12″. There are 30 standard base sizes ranging from 32″x32″ all the way up to 60″x48″. Right, left, and center drain choices are also available with most of the standard sizes. Bases can be ordered custom shapes and sizes, up to 120″ long!
Non-Slip Texture
All of the stone resin bases have a non-slip texture on the floor. Water channels can be built into the mold for faster drainage. For added slip resistance, an ADA compliant base can be ordered; these bases have a more pronounced texture in the shape of hexagons along the shower base.
Low Step
Shower bases can be ordered with 3 different threshold heights: 1 1/2″, 2 3/4″, and 4″ tall. If you are planning on using a shower curtain with your new shower, you can choose between the medium or tall base. The lowest step base can only be used with a shower glass door, due to the minimal amount of threshold to keep a shower curtain in.

Shower Shelving
Recessed niches and corner caddy shelves are two different styles of shelves you can choose from for your new Stone Resin shower. Both options can be ordered in a few different sizes depending on the amount of shower shelving you want or the look you like best.
Corner caddies are great for showers that have ample room for you to move around in; they are also faster to install because there is no need to cut through your wall or move studs.
Recessed Niches have more size options to choose from; there are two different height options and a few different widths, as you can see in the pictures above. Recessed shelving niches do take more time and skill to install, as the shower wall will need to be cut open for the shelf to be inserted. More caulking is also required to ensure no leaks around the shelf. However, many people choose the recessed niche because it does not take up any space in the shower and has a modern look.

Shower Benches
When it comes to upgrading your shower from basic to luxury, a bench is at the top of most people’s lists. They can also help bring independence and confidence to those aging in place or ADA patients. There are multiple different shower benches to choose from; by looking through the pictures on this page, it should help you decide what functions and look you like best.

Teak Wood Folding Bench: The teak wood folding bench is our number one bench, it comes in all the standard metallic finishes to match your shower head. The best feature of the teak wood bench is how compactly they fold up against the wall when not in use.
Floating bench: Stone Resin floating benches are made to match your wall and give a clean look to your shower. Floating benches have a “grippy” texture on them to help with slippage; they also have a very slight slope to keep the water from pooling on the seat surface.
Built-in bench: The built-in bench is the most high-end looking and is the largest in size. If you are going with a two-color shower, these benches look great matching the shower base and having the walls be a lighter color. Built-in benches take much longer to build rather than a folding or floating bench because you will need a framework built under the bench; however, they do have the highest weight rating. Built-in benches also require a specialty shower base and take more of your shower base away.
